Location of the project is between Hetherington Road and Woodleigh Road in the Onewhero Ward, a length of 640m through a section of road with severe stability issues.
Following stabilisation of slumped sections with substantial retaining walls and cemented soil columns the road will be strengthened and reshaped with additional basecourse and sealed to 6.0m width.
Transfield Services Ltd is carrying out the work, valued at $703,329.00, with completion expected mid-May.
