Roading projects

Kerie Road starts at State Highway One B 3.8 km east of Taupiri and runs south west to Kainui Road in the Ngaruawahia Ward.

Horsham Downs Road starts at the northern boundary with HCC at Kay Road and runs northwest to Lake Road in the Hukanui-Waerenga Ward. The intersection with Henderson Road is located at RP 1.26, Horsham Downs Road.

Serpell Road starts at State Highway Two in the Whangamarino Ward and runs south to a dead end. The seal extension is located between R.P. 0.00 and 0.643.

Twining Road starts at Paparimu Road near Mangatawhiri in the Whangamarino Ward and runs northwest to a dead end. The seal extension is located between R.P. 0.00 and 0.882.

The project length is 1520m, extending south from Buckville Road, in the Awaroa ki Tuakau Ward.

Okaeria Road is situated east of Te Kauwhata and provides access to the forestry and farming districts to the east as well as being an alternative route to the Coromandel. This is an AWPT and Minor Safety project that starts at R.P 5.520 and ends at R.P 5.840, a project length of 320m.

Hall Road is a sealed rural road located approximately 5km northwest of Te Kauwhata. The road starts at SH1 and runs northwest for 4.3km through farmland and terminates at a dead end. It is classed as a local road and has an open road speed limit (100kmph). The project is between RP 0.360 and 1.020 with a length of 660m.

Waingaro Road starts at State Highway One in Ngaruawahia and runs west to the intersection of Highway 22 and Ohautira Road in the Whaingaroa Ward.

Location of the project is between Hetherington Road and Woodleigh Road in the Onewhero Ward, a length of 640m through a section of road with severe stability issues.
