Water, wastewater and stormwater

The Waikato District Council is responsible for the maintenance and running of water supply schemes, and stormwater drainage areas throughout the Waikato district.

Council is also responsible for the district's wastewater, and operates 74 wastewater pumping-stations and eight wastewater treatment plants.
