Ruapuke Road - Temporary Road Closure
Notice is hereby given that the Waikato District Council, for the purpose of allowing the Fiat Club to hold a Motorsport event, will close Ruapuke Road for the period set out below. For the period of closure of the road the following provisions will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the road. The road sections will be manned at intersections by clearly identifiable marshals equipped with radio communication and access will be provided in the event of an emergency.
Emergency services will be available should they be required.
Date of Closure: Sunday 21 February 2010
Time of Closure: 9.00am to 5.00pm
Name of Road: Ruapuke Road, starting from its intersection with Te Mata Road to the intersection with Waimaunga Road.
This notice is given pursuant to the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974.
