Gardeners wanting to participate in Ngaruawahia’s Best Garden Competition have only until the end of this week to return their completed entry form to Waikato District Council.
There are plenty of categories to enter, and prizes to be won. Council encourages as many residents as possible to take part.
This year’s categories include: Best Street Appearance; Best Vegetable Garden; Best Novice Garden (1st & 2nd year gardens); Best Established Garden; Best Rose Display; Best Contribution by Pensioner (65 years plus); and Best Courtyard/Feature/Art.
Judging for Ngaruawahia’s Best Garden Competition will take place on Tuesday 17 November, with a prizegiving on Wednesday 25 November.
Entry forms can be downloaded from Council’s website www.waikatodistrict.govt.nz , or obtained from Council’s Ngaruawahia office or library.
The event is sponsored by the Waikato District Council and the Ngaruawahia Community Board.
