Water mains flushed in Huntly this week (Tuesday, 31 January 2012)

Huntly residents are advised that the town water supply pipes are being flushed as part of an ongoing process to preserve the quality of the district's drinking water.

Be alert around schools (Friday, 27 January 2012)

Motorists are reminded to take care around schools as children start to return to school next week.

Residents in Hamilton and the Waikato district are permitted to use domestic sprinkler and irrigation systems between 6am-8am and 6pm-8pm only, following the introduction of water alert level 1 today.

Puketirini development begins (Wednesday, 18 January 2012)
