Bylaws

A Bylaw is a rule or regulation made by a Local Authority such as the Waikato District Council.  The Local Government Act 2002 empowers a Local Authority to make bylaws on a diverse range of subjects. Some other Acts also empower Local Authorities to make bylaws on specific topics.
